This home is located in a quaint neighborhood with wide streets, mature trees, and holds the integrity of 1960 Mid Century American Ranches. Andre and Simone have two children and the home is convenient to their work. When our clients bought the house it still had some of the original finishes from when it was built but wasn’t as functional as it could be for their family. It was really charming, you felt like you were in a time capsule when you entered except for a few upgrades on the interior and exterior. Our goal with this remodel is to stay true to the original Architecture, this is the only way to create timeless design, but make it functional for their family. Our clients' requests were to bring back the mid-century modern architecture reminiscent of the 1960s, add more storage, incorporate modern art elements, entertaining friendly, and era inspired colors. So, essentially we wanted to keep a retro vibe while interjecting some Chic Modern elements. Think of the Kennedys and Mick Jagger had a baby.
