I grew up in a home that was deeply creative, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. As a child, my parents dabbled in buying, designing, and flipping homes. I’ve been exposed to design for most of my life, and I’ve always had a strong passion for creating beautiful spaces that feel like home.

During elementary school, I loved taking printer paper and designing 3D models of homes. I would meticulously plan the rooms, complete with functional doors and windows. Design is ingrained in who I am, although it took me a long time to fully realize that.

Before turning my passion into a career, I attended college in Florida, majoring in Psychology and Criminology. It was there that I met my amazing husband. For 12 years, I was a stay-at-home mother while successfully running another business. Now, I reside in the northern suburbs of North Atlanta with my three kids, husband, and my Airedale, Molly.

Fast forward to Julius Design Co. In 2022, after my grandfather passed away, I had a revelation: I needed to either wake up and follow my true calling in life or miss out on the gifts I’d been given. My grandfather, an incredible draftsman, worked on projects like the Saturn IV rocket and many other notable endeavors. As an ode to him, I named my company after him.

I decided to return to school for Interior Design in 2023 and landed my first internship with HGTV later that year. There, I was featured on “Married to Real Estate” Season 3 as a design assistant on their design team. Soon after in early 2024, a nationally known Interior Designer scooped me up as her Design Assistant then quickly promoted to Junior Designer. From there, I founded my own design firm, Julius Design Co. My passion lies in helping you bring your vision to life seamlessly and ensuring you love your space for years to come. I can’t wait to chat soon about your next project!
